Kōcha (紅茶) is the Japanese term for black (red) tea. Nowadays, many farmers are adding black tea to their portfolio. In character, this tea is similar to Chinese red teas. Our tea was crafted by Mr. Furota from Kumamoto Prefecture. The variety is Yabukita – a modern, resistant variety which, combined with light oxidation, gives the tea a fruity‑floral profile.
Aroma: intense and appealing, with dominant notes of dried flowers, cocoa, raspberries, and rare spices.
Taste: full‑bodied, attractive, and sweet, with notes of fruit (raspberries, strawberries), dried flowers, cocoa, and spice, followed by a long honey‑spiced finish.
Harvest period: May 2025
