The red tea from Wuyishan National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Tea leaves come from a small garden and an even smaller factory owned by our friends. The tea is processed traditionally, like red tea without using smoke.
The leaves were baked in a large wood oven for about an hour, at a temperature of about 110 degrees and than, process is repeated one’s more with the temperature about 100 °C.
It’s aroma is very intense, fresh and attractive with a hints of green apple, kiwi, fresh and dried flowers, rare spices and cocoa.
The taste is very attractive, full, sweetish, dominated by fruit tones (strawberries, kiwi and apples), nutty-chocolate, dried flowers and rare spices.
