Popis

Recently, the odd years in Wuyi have been characterized by great quality. After 2017, 2019, 2021 is also exceptional.
This tea comes from the Shui Lian Dong area – a place where most tourists go to feed the pigeons and a short walk away to watch the water fall from the rock waterfall that gives the area its name. Perhaps the most important thing about this part of the inner park, however, are the extensive tea gardens, which are mostly planted with the Shui Xian variety at the top of the cliff, but there are also other older tea trees of the Ba Xian and Rou Gui variety. The latter is our tea and comes from a section where the average age is around 50 years.

The tea leaves are roasted at a temperature of 100 to 110 degrees for about 12 hours after production. After a month’s rest, the process is repeated and the last – third roasting, which took place in September (May harvest) is 8 hours at a temperature of around 90 degrees.
