The Shincha from a small south island Tokunoshima. The material is from not a well-known, but very interesting cultivar Sofu. It was harvested in the begging of April. The tea leaves were withered and lightly steamed.
The tea is very brisk and attractive in its taste and aroma. Very fresh and dominated by hints of cut grass, young pea, dried flowers, sea weed. An aftertaste is very long and little bit salty.
Harvest: April 2021
