Zhejiang Anji Bai Cha 安吉白茶 is one of the others very famous chinese green teas. The tea has Bai Cha (white tea) in its name, but it is green tea. The cultivar was discovered in 1982 in Anji – Zhejiang province. The look of the tea leaves is more white, than green coloured, because of lower quantity of chlorophyll.
The aroma and taste is sweet, attractive with notes of dead nettle flower, elderberry, green asparagus, dried herbs and rare spices.
