CNNP (China National Native Produce) is a name for the original state-owned enterprise that controlled all the factories in China, yes, including Menghai TF, Kunming TF, Xiaguan TF etc…:)
The most of them was privatized in 80’s and 90’s, but CNNP is always working under the China Tea (Zhong Cha) label and using classical logo „中 茶“.
Please, don’t look for the famous recipe in this tea, but yes, the expression and the taste of the tea show how great the tea is – nicely matured, very well stored. It can easily be compared to several times more expensive and famous puerhs from the same period.
The tea was bought in 2001 from the small tea factory, where was date as a material from the end of 90’s. But the seller, who has bought it dated it as a 2001. This is only one exact info in the period of CNNP production. The tongs were not numbered and the cakes was packed into classical green marked (Green Mark) papers. This mark is also pressed as a neifei into the cake. The tea was repacked in 2011 into original package by malaysian seller, who bought the tea in 2001.
