The place Ma Tou (horse head) is one of the most famous in the park. It is famous mainly because of the variety Rou Gui, but it is not the only one that is grown here. Originally from Anxi, Mei Zhan is a very attractive rock tea.
Tea bushes of this tea are about 50 to 60 years old. Baking is traditional on charcoal 4 times about 8 hours at a temperature of about 100 °C with a monthly interval from each baking.
Aroma: cocoa, plum jam, dried flowers, meadow honey, strawberries, gingerbread spices
Taste: very full with tones of baked bread, plum jam, gingerbread spices, with a long honey aftertaste
