Special tea from special man Ye Bing Huai, who stands behind XY label and is among top Pu-Erh connoisseurs in China. Long time, Yiwu was his specialty, from which this very fermented tea comes. Material is from arbor trees, harvested in Spring 2001, then it was made as loose tea and stored for two more years in Menghai, before being compressed into cake in 2003.
This tea is among the most interesting stuff we have had the pleasure to taste.
Aroma: attractive, ripe with notes of fruits (raspberries, strawberries, rose hip), spices, cocoa, cream and dried flowers.
Taste: attractive, sweet with dominant notes of dried flowers, fruit (raspberries, strawberries, rose hip), spices, cocoa, meadow honey with long aftertaste.
